Villarrica Volcano Base Tour.

🌋 This tour takes you to the base of Villarrica Volcano, at an altitude of 1,200 meters above sea level. You’ll learn about the volcano’s formation and ancient eruptions, while discovering its breathtaking views and surrounding natural environment. You’ll also have time to take photos and explore the area on foot.

🌲 On our way to the volcano’s base, we’ll stop at the entrance to Villarrica National Park and follow a short trail leading to a spectacular photo spot. This place, known as “El Playón,” has served as one of the main channels for volcanic material during past eruptions.

🌋 From the base of Villarrica Volcano (1,200 meters above sea level), you’ll take the chairlift at Pillán Mountain Center to its panoramic restaurant (1,400 meters above sea level). From there, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of volcanoes, lakes, and forests.

You can enjoy lunch or a drink surrounded by the mountain atmosphere and skiers.

Available during both the winter and summer seasons, subject to the mountain center’s opening schedule.

🌋 From the base of Villarrica Volcano (1,200 meters above sea level), you’ll take the chairlift up to Pillán Mountain Center (1,400 meters above sea level). From the panoramic restaurant, you’ll enjoy spectacular views of volcanoes, lakes, and forests.

🛷 Then, get ready for some fun on a dedicated sledding track! Starting at 12 PM, you’ll have up to 4 hours of unlimited sledding, with a cable lift to take you back up comfortably after each ride.

Available only when the mountain center is open during the winter season.
